PYSA_MS_APPTEMPLATE - Learn About Appraisal Templates for Military Sector

In this Customizing activity, you upload the following appraisal templates for the Saudi Arabia military sector:

  • Appraisal template for Lieutenant to Major
  • Appraisal template for Lieutenant Colonel to Brigadier General
  • Attaché Evaluation Form (during attachment period)
  • Scholarship Evaluation Form (during scholarship period)
  • Promotion Competencies Report

When the templates are uploaded, you can change the templates.

The templates are in the Arabic language; therefore, to upload the templates, you must log on in Arabic.

  1. When you execute the customizing activity, on the left navigation pane, under the Personnel Appraisal node, upload a new category for KSA Military Sector using the file Category - KSA MS Appraisals.YHM
  2. When the new category for KSA Military Sector is uploaded, right-click the node and select Upload Template.
  3. Upload the following template files:
  • Template - Appraisal_Lieut_to_Major.XSC

  • Template - Appraisal_LieutCol_BrigGen.XSC

  • Template - Appraisal_Attache.XSC

  • Template - Appraisal_Scholarship.XSC

  • Template - Promotion_Competency.XSC

  1. When you upload a template, by default it is unreleased. Before you can use a template, you must release it. To do so, right-click the template, select Status; then select Release.

If you want the personnel who are responsible for appraising employees to receive automatic notifications about when they should complete a certain section of the appraisal form, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to standard workflow task xxxx
  2. On the Standard task: Display screen, choose Additional data -> Agent assignment -> Maintain.
  3. Choose the Attributes pushbutton and in the pop-up dialog, select the Generalradio button, and choose Continue.
Sending the Appraisal document to further participants (authorized commander)

1. Go to the workflow template 13600255.

2. Go to the Triggering events tab.

3. Activate event INFO_HIGHER_MANAGER_APPROVE.
