In this activity, you maintain minimum service levels required for promotion based on one or more of the following conditions:
- Service duration
- Flying hours
- Education level
You make these settings at the level of a rank, for example, lieutenant.
When you are making your entries, you have to specify a sequence number for each of your ranks, where 01 is the highest of your ranks.
You can specify that for lieutenants to be eligible for promotion, they must meet a minimum service duration, have flown for a minimum number of hours, and have a minimum level of education. Alternatively, you can specify that only education level and service duration are to be considered as promotion eligibility criteria.
