In this Customizing activity, for a specific job rank or grade in the job classification matrix, you determine the following pay scale related attributes:

• Pay scale type

• Pay scale area

• Pay scale group

A job rank or grade in different job category series can map to different pay scale types, areas and groups. By doing so, you can apply the pre-defined pay structure settings to employees working in the public sector.

• You have defined the pay scale types in Customizing for Payroll Saudi Arabia, under Public Sector -> Pay Structure -> Define Pay Scale Types.

• You have defined the pay scale areas in Customizing for Payroll Saudi Arabia, under Public Sector -> Pay Structure -> Define Pay Scale Areas.

• You have defined the pay scale groups in Customizing for Payroll Saudi Arabia, under Public Sector -> Pay Structure -> Define Pay Scale Groups and Levels.
