In this Customizing activity, you define special types of dates or periods in the system. These special dates or periods are specific in Saudi Arabia, and are relevant to a certain allowance or incentive in the public sector.

In addition, you determine the time frame of each pre-define special date type. For each special date type, you can define multiple entries, that is, periods. For example, the Sacrifice Feast can happen twice a year. You can define each occurrence in this activity.

The special date type forms one of the checking criteria of a common eligibility checking rule.
