PYSA_PS_LEV_002 - Define Absence Valuation Refinement

In this Customizing activity, you distribute the absence valuation rules. For each rule group, you can define up to four absence valuation rules. When the maximum numbers of days you set for the first valuation rule is exceeded, the system automatically applies the following valuation rule during to the payroll calculation.

In addition, you can determine the applicable period for each rule group. When the applicable period is cycling, the system restarts counting the absence days and applies the first valuation rule; otherwise, counting of absence days continues throughout the entire service period of an employee.

You have defined rule groups for absence refinement and assign absence types to rule groups in Customizing for Payroll: Saudi Arabia, under Absences -> Valuation of Absences -> Refinement of Absences -> Create Rule Group for Absence Refinement.
