In this customizing activity, you make settings for the data retention period. You define how long you want your data to be retained in the system.

First, you define retention periods according to the HCM Localization and the corresponding sub application. Then, you define, for example, data types like Productive and Test data.

HCM Localization: 06 (France)

  • Sub application: DSN
  • Key fields (mandatory to select the records in the tables: "Nature déclaration pour DSN" (NATURE_DECL) and "Type déclaration pour DSN" (DECL_TYPE). You can define the period in which the deletion of data is forbidden, a duration and a unit for the retention period.
  • Data Type: Productive and Test data
