PY_AE_PBS_T71C1 - Define Compensation Groups

In this step, you set up compensation groups. You create compensation groups based on organizational assignment. This ensures that all employees in a particular organizational assignment will be eligible for the same salary components.

The compensation groups created in this step, will be used in the next step to group salary components according to your company's organizational assignments.

All employees in the compensation group Sales, receive an entertainment allowance.

1. Execute the activity.
2. Choose New Entries.
3. In the Group field, enter a code (maximum of 6 characters) representing a compensation group.
4. In the Description field, enter a long text corresponding to the group code (entered in the previous step).
5. Save your entries.
