PY_CA_NPYER - Define maximum number of PDF pages per document - NPYER option

This constant maintains the number of pages to be printed into one single document when running the Year End Reporting, Canada (RPCYERK0) report, having the YENFF configuration option enabled.

The value of constant is used to print the Year End forms using Adobe Forms technology. Once YENFF configuration option is activated, the report enables an additional field on the selection screen (Generate Single Document). Prior to the selection of this field, you should make entries and define the value of this constant.

The default value for the constant is 1000.00 and you must adjust it, according to the capabilities of your ADS server.

You have set the constant NPYER to 25.00 and you use the Year End Reporting, Canada (RPCYERK0) report to print 50 forms composed by the slip page and the instructions page, summing 100 pages. If you select the Generate Single Documentcheckbox before printing, the system generates 4 PDF documents of 24 pages and 1 PDF document with 4 pages, since the system will not split the form page from the instructions page. The same logic applies when the system generates more than one slip when the employee has surpassed the maximum number of additional "other information" boxes of the form being printed.
