PY_CA_YELOC - Disable lock operation for personnel number

In the standard system the Year End Reporting (RPCYERK0) performs a lock operation for each personnel number being processed. This lock is not required in case of test run process or for employees without data to report. In addition, lock operation increases processing time for production runs.
Therefore, if you want to disable the lock operation, execute this Customizing activity and modify the YELOC (SWITCH OPTION FOR EMPLOYEE LOCK IN YE) configuration option, according to the needs of your company.
Execute this Customizing activity and define the value of the YELOC configuration option by making the corresponding entry in table view Customer Values for Configuration Options (V_T5F99K2):
- Ctry Grouping: 07
- Option: YELOC
The possible values are as follows:
- 'DISABLED'':,,Disable lock for YE
The lock is not executed by the program.
- 'WARNING'':,,Enable lock and generate Warning message
The lock is executed and a warning message is logged if it fails (This is the default behavior.).
- 'ERROR'':,,Enable lock and generate Error message
The lock is executed and an error message is logged.
- 'REJECT'':,,Enable lock, error message, and reject
The lock is executed, an error message is logged and the employee is rejected.
