In the Taxation section of the IMG, you define the exemption limits relating to personal contributions to life and health insurance.

Social insurance also carries an exemption, but no customizing is required because social insurance wage types affected by tax are set by default with processing class 81 specification 1, which ensures that they are tax-exempt and handled by rule EG05. The total annual social insurance contribution for an employee is summed in wage type /314.
