This customizing activity lets you set the number ranges for the DSN.

Rules

The S20.G00.05.004 field is supplied by a unique number that obeys the following rules defined by the GIP-MDS:

• Monthly DSN: the sequence number must be reset on the first day of every month.

• Event-based DSN: the sequence order must never be reset.

The number ranges to maintain in the DSN are as follows:

• HR_FR_DSNM: DSN Monthly sequence number. In this number range, you create an interval number that corresponds to the current month with regard to the date on which you set your parameters.

• HR_FR_DSNS: DSN Sequence number for event-based DSN. In this payroll area you create an interval number that corresponds to 01.
