PY_GB_TPMDC_025 - Manual Overrides

In this Customizing activity documentation, you can find recommendations relevant for manual overrides and information about how this affects your implementation of the Teachers' Pension Monthly Data Collection (TP MDC) solution during the processing of the GBTMD (Teachers' Pension: Monthly Data Collection (MDC)) payroll function, the Teachers' Pension: Monthly Data Collection (RPUTPSG0_MDC) report, and the Teachers' Pension: Monthly Data Collection (RPUTPSG0_MDC_PRESELECTION) report.

Customers can choose whether they want to make the wage types listed below available to their users. In general, this is not necessary once implementation has been successfully completed, however, in some special scenarios it may be required.

Alternatively, they can implement the PAYROLL method of the BAdI: Teachers' Pensions Monthly Data Collection Business Add-In.

The following 9 manual override wage types are available to change the reported values in the TP00, TP01, TP02, TP03, TP04, TP05 and TP06 wage types:

• TPX1 (new),,TP MDC: Annual Sal (Adj)

This wage type overrides the amount field of TP01.

• TPX2 (new),,TP MDC: PT Salary (Adj)

This wage type overrides the amount field of TP02.

• TPX3 (new),,TP MDC: Add Conts (Adj)

This wage type overrides the amount field of TP03.

• TPX4 (new),,TP MDC: Overtime (Adj)

This wage type overrides the amount field of TP04.

• TPX5 (new),,TP MDC: ERs Conts (Adj)

This wage type overrides the amount field of TP05.

• TPX6 (new),,TP MDC: EEs Conts (Adj)

This wage type overrides the amount field of TP06.

• TPXD (new),,TP MDC: Days Excl. (Adj)

This wage type overrides the amount field of TP00 but only amounts between 0 and 99.

• TPXF (new),,TP MDC: FT/PT Ind. (Adj)

This wage type overrides the number field of TP00 but only amounts 0, 7 and 8.

• TPXW (new),,TP MDC: Withdrawal (Adj)

This wage type overrides the STAT2 field of WPBP as follows:

amount = 0.00 -> '3'

amount = 1.00 -> '0'

This override wage type has very specific processing. It changes the STAT2 field of WPBP to reflect the employment status that the user wants. Note that this only happens with a local copy of WPBP used by payroll function GBTMD not with the actual table.

This means the following:

• A WPBP split that is for a leaver can be changed to active ("3").

• A WPBP split that is for an inactive employee can be changed to "active" ("3") or "left" ("0").

• A WPBP split that is for an active employee can be changed to "left" ("0").
