In this Customizing activity, you can find recommendations relevant for auto-enrolment and and information about how this affects your implementation of the Teachers' Pension Monthly Data Collection (TP MDC) solution during the processing of the GBTMD (Teachers' Pension: Monthly Data Collection (MDC)) payroll function, the Teachers' Pension: Monthly Data Collection (RPUTPSG0_MDC) report, and the Teachers' Pension: Monthly Data Collection (RPUTPSG0_MDC_PRESELECTION) report.

Any employees that are currently in a pension scheme relevant for Teachers' Pension are automatically relevant for TP MDC. However, this also includes employees that are auto-enrolled into Teachers' Pension during the payroll.

During the payroll, in payroll function GBTMD, the Pensions Details infotype (0071) is extended to include their Auto-Enrolment Scheme (AES) if the employee is subject to auto-enrolment. However, this processing does not happen outside the payroll.

As a consequence, it is essential that you run the Pensions Auto-Enrolment (GB): Post-Payroll Report(RPCPAEG1) before TP MDC to ensure that the Pensions Details infotype (0071) is up-to-date for all employees that have been auto-enrolled into TPS this month.
