In this Customizing activity, you can choose the wage types that you want the system to use for processing contributions to Career Average Revalued Earnings (CARE) schemes for part time employees.

Note that you should implement this manual solution only if your payroll does not support the complete solution.

If your payroll solution does not report Variable Time Employees (VTE) and Non-VTE employee contributions separately, then, you can highlight employees who are receiving VTE payments during the processing of the USS Contributions (Interface to ALV, TemSe or File Server) RPUUSSG0) report. In this case, you have to manually alter the entries that are sent to Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) for employees who are receiving VTE payments.

  1. Select New Entries
  2. Choose the wage types
  3. Save your entries
