PY_IN_CTC_T7INK2 - Maintain Component ID and Assign Category

In this Customizing activity, you maintain the component ID for salary components in your organization and assign the same to the relevant categories. You define the categories in Define Component Category.

For example, for the component ID, 0001, the corresponding category is 0001(regular payments) and the description for the same is basic salary.

Note that to Customize the entries as per your requirements, you must delete the existing entries (if any) and create entries of your own.

• Select New Entries.

• Enter the component ID.

• Select the relevant component category from the list.

• Enter a description for the component ID.

• Save your entries.
