In this Customizing activity you depict your collective agreement in the SAP standard system with regard to the reclassification of your employees. You can perform reclassifications based on age, length of time at the enterprise, or amount of time worked.

The Within Grade Step Increment (HUNUPSR0) report evaluates your entries and generates a batch input session with new data records for the Basic Payinfotype (0008).

You have defined the pay scale types and the pay scale areas.

You have an overview of your collective agreements.

  1. Choose New Entries
  2. In the view, enter the pay scale information of the pay scale group/level to be reclassified.
  3. If you want to use the employee's hiring date determined in the infotypes Organizational Assignment (0001) and Date Specifications(0041) as a reclassification condition, enter this date in the Hired to field.
  4. If the reclassification conditions do not meet all of your requirements, you can use the feature PRVARfor additional reclassification conditions. For further information, see the IMG activity Refine Reclassification Conditions.
    Note that for NPO, in the standard SAP solution, the system overrides the value returned by this feature with AIto indicate accelerated increment.
  5. If required, in the PS Due to Age field, enter the age as of which a reclassification should take place.
  6. If required, in the Group Member. Dur. (Duration of Membership in Group) field, enter the length of time in a pay scale group/level (in years and months) after which a reclassification should take place.
  7. Define the validity period for your reclassification criteria.
  8. If required, in the Numberfield, enter the number for the amount of time your employee has worked.
  9. Enter the pay scale group/level to which the employee will belong as a result of the pay scale reclassification.
  10. If required, enter the wage types that you want to be added or limited in terms of time in the Basic Payinfotype (0008).

Your collective agreement stipulates that after one year in the pay scale group 01, an employee must be reclassified into pay scale group 02.

According an employees's contract, when the employee has worked 1200 hours, he or she must be reclassified from pay scale group 01to pay scale group 02.
