PY_NZ_EMCAT_11 - Map Employee Category with Employee Group and Subgroup

In this Customising activity, you assign employee categories to employee groups and subgroups. Categories assigned can be queried in the payroll schema using the To determine the employee category(NZCAT) operation.

Note that employees with employee subgroup set to the Casual employee category (3) are excluded from updates to the Holiday Pay Information table (NZHPI).

1. Choose New Entries.
2. Enter the Employee Groupand Employee subgroup.
3. Select Employee Category. This is the field that you have created using Maintain Employee Category view.
4. Select the Start Date and End Date.
5. Save your entries.
