In this Customizing activity, you maintain Statutory Deductions(64) processing class to process the wage types according to the relevant type of protected net earnings check.

  1. Select a wagetype.
  2. Double-click on the selected wage type and the Processing Class 64: Details screen appears.
  3. Set the wage type to one of the following specifications:
  • 0 - Deduction without Net Protected Earnings

  • 1 - Deduction with Net Protected Earnings CS (Old)

  • 2 - Deduction with Net Protected Earnings CS (New)

  • 6 - Court Fines with Protected Earnings

  • 7 - Deduction with Protected Net Earnings

  1. Save your entries.

Note that there should only be one customer wage type with a child support protected net earnings check (specification 2). If other wage types require a similar check specification 7 should be used.
