PY_QA_PS_SAN_001 - Set Up Sanctions in Public Sector

In this Customizing activity, you define the sanction scheme applied in the public sector.

When the user specifies a sanction type in a record of the Sanction QA PS (3338) infotype, the system checks relevant attributes defined in this activity as follows:

• Check employee's job grade against the applicable job grades

• Performs action as described in Sanction Consequenses.

SAP provides the following standard sanction types:

• 001 Alert

• 002 Reprimand

• 003 Salary Deduction Maximum of 3 Dys per Case

• 004 Work Suspension

• 005 Job Grade Downgrade

• 006 Termination but Keep Pension or EOS

• 007 Warning

• 008 Salary Deduction Maximum of 15 Days per Case

• 009 Periodic Allowance Deferring

• 010 Deprived from Periodic Allowance

• 011 Deprived from Promotion

If the standard sanction types cannot meet requirements in your company, you can define new sanction types. Note the dependencies mentioned in the field helps.
