Use

In this Customizing activity you can register the payroll result tables to be declustered. You can decide which information in the payroll result is required as a transparent table as well as a cluster record. Maintain only the required tables in the registry.

Note: In order to keep the consistency of the declustered payroll result, declustering of the table VERSC in the payroll result is enforced in the declustering tools. It will be declustered regardless of whether it is registered or not.

  • Candidate tables exist and their corresponding transparent tables have been created and activated in the ERP system and the target database.
  • The candidates come from the payroll result structure PAY99_PERSON. The mapping for the transparent table is defined in HRDCT_D_TABLES.

To register the payroll result tables you want to decluster, complete the following steps:

  1. Activate the Register Payroll Results to Be Declustered activity.
  2. In the Declustering Tools Registry for Payroll Results, select New Entries.
  3. In the Table Name in Cluster column, enter the table name you want to register. The corresponding transparent table name will display in the Transparent Tablecolumn.
  4. Save your entry.

Note:

  • The tables that are marked as C in the TABTYPE field in HRDCT_D_TABLES support concurrent employment only.
  • The tables that are marked as H in the TABTYPE field in HRDCT_D_TABLES are HELP/INDEX tables (help tables are used for improving Performance/usability in case some programs access Payroll results by Native/Open SQL):
  • Table P2RX_WPBP_INDEX, marked as H in the TABTYPE field and PY in the ALTRELID field

  • Table P2RX_EVAL_PERIOD, marked as H in the TABTYPE field and with the RELID "CU"

For the cluster table PCL2, with the Cluster ID RX (International), the authorized user registers two tables to be declustered into transparent tables. The user enters the table RT in the Table Name in Clustercolumn. The corresponding transparent table is P2RX_RT. The authorized user also enters the table name WPBP in the next row of the Table Name in Clustercolumn. The corresponding transparent table is P2RX_WPBP.
