In this Customizing activity, you set up the statutory end of service (EOS) payout details. Optionally, you can also set up additional, non-statutory payout amounts, such as loyalty bonuses for long-serving employees.

You have completed the following Customizing activities:

  • You have specified the time unit (days, weeks, or years) for measuring service duration in operation SASYR. Note: For maximum accuracy, we recommend you specify Days.

  1. In the End of Service Groups table, set up the Pay Types and Pay Groups. The pay type defines the reasons for the end of service payout, such as resignation, dismissal, and so forth. The technical names of the pay types must be the same as the corresponding return values in feature 24EOS. The pay group defines the categories of employees, such as expatriate employees and GOSI-eligible employees.
  2. In the End of Service Groups table, double-click a row and enter the minimum and maximum amounts to be paid for EOS for this pay type and pay group.
  • If EOS amounts for the pay type and pay group are required to be prorated, select the Proratecheckbox.

  • If the EOS amounts for the pay type and pay group are require slabs, select the Payment Slabs checkbox.

  • If you want to create additional EOS payout slabs for this pay group and pay type, select the Additional Slabs checkbox.

  1. To create the slabs for the statutory EOS payouts, from the Dialog Structure panel, double-click Payout/Provision Slabs and make the required settings. Make additional settings by double-clicking a row and entering the appropriate values in the Payout/Provision Slabs groupbox.
  2. Optional: To create the additional, non-statutory slabs, from the Dialog Structure panel, double-click Additional Payouts and make the required settings.
