In this Customizing activity, you can define different signature remarks for the various steps in a signature process (new or in process), which users can select from a list in the digital signature dialog box.

You have made the settings for defining signature strategies and you have stored these signature strategies in Customizing for the issue type or activity type.

In the standard system, SAP does not deliver any entries for the signature remarks table.

Perform the following steps:

1. Decide whether you want to store the remarks for quality issues or quality notifications.
2. For each required combination of signature process status and business transaction, define one or more signature remarks. If required, use predefined placeholders to include context information in the signature remark. For more information about the available placeholders, see the documentation for the Remark Text field.
3. To translate signature remarks, select an entry and choose Goto -> Translation.

Note:

If you want to allow follow-on signatories to be able to change an already selected remark during the current signature process, set the respective indicator in the following Customizing activities:

• Define Issue Types -> Digital Signature

• Define Activity Types -> Digital Signature
