QAM_SCPR3_8D - Activate BC Sets for 8D

In this Customizing activity, you activate the Business Configuration Sets (BC Sets) with which Customizing settings are delivered that are relevant for 8D.

Activating a BC Set means that all data from the BC Set is transferred to the corresponding original tables. Note that existing entries for an object in the original tables are overwritten when this is done.

You can only activate a BC Set if there is no production client in the system.

When you activate the BC Set, you must adhere to a specific sequence. This sequence is stored in the hierarchical BC Set QAM_8D_DELIVERY_CUSTOMIZING.

Proceed as follows:

1. Open the above-mentioned BC Set by choosing New BC Set Selection -> Select by Attributes. Specify the ID of the hierarchical BC Set as the selection criterion and leave all other fields empty.
2. Display the contents of the subordinate BC Set.
3. To activate a BC Set, choose Goto -> Activation Transaction.
