QAM_VV_PHASE - Define Settings for Steps

In this Customizing activity, you make the settings for the steps entered under Define Steps. For example, you can assign timepoint codes for the start date and end date of a step, or enter an activity type or template for immediate actions. The activity type or template is only relevant, however, if the option for the quick creation of an activity is implemented in the Web Dynpro application configuration, for example, by means of a + pushbutton.

Note: If you enter an activity type and an activity template, the system uses only the activity template; the entry for the activity type is ignored. No check is made to establish whether the activity type and activity template are compatible.

You have created the timepoint codes that you want to assign here under Define Timepoints. You have also included these timepoint codes on the UI in the Web Dynpro application configuration.

You have defined the activity types or templates that you want to assign here in Customizing for QIM under Issue Processing.
