QAM_V_CODE - Define Codes

In this Customizing activity, you define codes with which you can categorize issues according to specific criteria. You group codes together in code groups.

You assign these codes and code groups to an issue or activity that corresponds to the meaning of the codes. You can restrict the search for codes using code groups.

Note:

Codes that are not assigned to a code group are not displayed in the search.

In addition, codes and code groups are assigned to catalogs to group them by their subject area. You can search for codes and code groups via catalogs when you create an issue.

Define codes and specify whether they are to be used by means of the Inactive indicator.

In the activity Define Catalogs and Code Groups, assign the codes to the catalogs and code groups.
