QIE_SAMP_TYPE - Define Sample Types

In this Customizing activity, you define sample types.

In Customizing for the Post Processing Framework, you have defined action profiles for the printing of the required data (for example, sample labels) (see Check Settings in Post Processing Framework).

1. Define the required sample types.
2. Assign an inspection object type to each sample type.
3. Enter the rest of the required data.
4. For each sample type, indicate the properties that a sample or inspection type is to contain under Properties.
5. Define the number ranges for samples and assign the number ranges to the sample types under Define Number Ranges for Samples and Items.

The system copies the defined number ranges to this Customizing activity and displays them with the sample types to which they are assigned.
