QIE_SNUM_INSP_DOC - Define Number Ranges for Inspection Documents

In this Customizing activity, you define the number ranges to be used for inspection documents.

1. Under Define Number Ranges, define the number range intervals by choosing Change Groups and then Create Group. Enter a group description and a number range interval and save.
2. Under Assign Number Ranges to Inspection Documents, assign an alphanumeric key to the number range intervals.

You can use the specified alphanumeric keys in the inspection rules.

1. Create an entry with an empty alphanumeric key and also assign this to the number range interval.

This entry, that is, the number range interval assigned to this entry, is used by the system if you do not specify a number range in the inspection rule.
