QIE_SYST_TYPES - Define External QM Systems

You can use the Quality Inspection Engine (CA-QIE) to perform inspections in a decentralized system landscape. You can forward inspections to external quality management system (QM systems) with extended quality management functions and thereby perform enhanced quality inspections.

In this IMG activity, you define these external QM systems.

You have created the external QM systems in the System Landscape Directory (SLD).

1. Define the external QM systems.
2. Under Attributes, specify the attributes that are to be passed on when an inspection is forwarded to an external QM system.
3. Under Installations, specify the installation data of the connected external QM systems.
