With this Business Add-In (BAdI) you can influence the field properties read-only, mandatory input, and hidden (for visibility) of the defect fields (BO node I_DEFECT_TP).

You need to consider the following requirements:

• You cannot switch off the read-only and mandatory field properties defined for fields by the SAP standard system.

• You can only define one property for a field. If more than one property is defined, the properties defined in the implementation are ignored.

• For defects with status Completed, status Not Relevant, or for defects marked for deletion, the field property change to read-only and mandatory input is ignored. In these cases, you can only change the field property to hidden.

• DEFECT_CATEGORY

Filter parameter: Provides the defect category for which the field control is implemented

• HEADER

Import parameter: Defect data

• FIELD_PROPERTIES

Changing parameter: List of field names with properties
