QM_DEF_HEADER_VALIDA - Add New Validations for Header Data of Defect

With this Business Add-In (BAdI) you can add new validations for the data of a defect. The validations are implemented for a defect category.

It is not possible to overrule or skip standard validations. The validations will be executed for active defect data and on activation of draft data.

• DEFECT_CATEGORY

Filter parameter: Provides the defect category for which you want to implement the new validations

• HEADER

Import parameter: Defect data

• IS_DRAFT_SAVE

Import parameter: Validation on saving draft version

• MESSAGE_LIST

Changing parameter: If at least one message in the message list has the value errorfor the attribute message typethe whole validation is treated as data not valid. The data cannot be saved active on the database and you cannot activate a draft.

Saving data in draft version is possible although error messages are returned.
