This Business Add-In (BAdI) is called in the inbound processing of production data structures (PDS) for subcontracting. During the inbound processing of subcontracting production data structures, master data is created that is required in SAP APO, but that does not exist in SAP R/3. Therefore, it cannot be transferred to SAP APO by means of the SAP APO Core Interface (APO CIF).
This involves the following objects:
- Product in the supplier location or subcontractor location
- Transportation lane from the plant to the supplier location or subcontractor location
The BAdI can be used to change the fields from the location product and the transportation lane directly before writing to the database.
The BAdI is not active in the standard system.
The BAdI is not filter-dependent and not for multiple use.
To activate the BAdI, you have to create an active implementation.
