SAP E-Book

The SAP E-Recruiting component is partly based on the internal enterprise structure (reporting hierarchy) with its organizational units, positions, and employees.

If you already have these structures stored in your SAP system, you can use ALE distribution (Application Link Enabling) to import them into SAP E-Recruiting. You can perform an initial distribution of all objects or a delta distribution in the productive system. This enables you to provide a complete organizational structure in SAP E-Recruiting consisting of organizational units, positions, and jobs. Employees' data is stored in the SAP Business Partner, which is created for each employee in SAP E-Recruiting. The employee's personal data, address data, contact data, employee number and relationship to the relevant user is stored here. If there is no user available, the system automatically generates a user for SAP E-Recruiting.

Caution

You only need to perform the following Customizing activities if you run SAP E-Recruiting in a separate system.

You have already created a distribution model in your SAP system. Distribution to the SAP E-Recruiting system is created as for any other ALE distribution (transaction SALE). For more information, see SAP Library under ALE Implementation and Administration.

The ALE distribution is based on the inbound processing of HR master data with integration to the business partner; in other words, you must have the business partner integration switched on. For this, you have entered "X" for the system switch HRALX HRAC (Activate HR Integration) and "ON" for the system switch HRALX OBPON (Integration O-BP Activated) in the HR system.

In SAP E-Recruiting, you must use the Customizing activity BAdI: Inbound Processing for HR Master Data to activate the implementation HRRCF00_INBD_NEWMOD of the BAdI HRALE00INBOUND_IDOC. You must also activate the implementation CONV_HR_DATA_TO_EREC of the BAdI HRSYNC-P.
