RCF_MSS_USER - Assign Role to Users

In the IMG activity, you assign the necessary roles to the user for the connection from the HR system to the E-Recruiting system and to the reference user for managers.

In the HR system, you have performed the following IMG activity to define a connection to the E-Recruiting system and have entered a user there with logon data: Manager Self-Service (SAP ERP) -> Recruitment -> Create RFC Connection to E-Recruiting System. In the HR system, you have also performed the following IMG activity to define this connection as the connection to be used: Manager Self-Service (SAP ERP) -> Recruitment -> Assign E-Recruiting System Name.

Service user for the connection between HR system and E-Recruiting system

1. Select the user that was entered in the HR system for the connection to be used (see above).
2. On the Roles tab page, assign the SAP_RCF_MANAGER_SERVICE role to this user.
3. Choose Save.

Reference user for managers

1. Select the reference user for managers.
2. On the Roles tab page, assign the SAP_RCF_MANAGER role to this user.
3. Choose Save.

Note:
If an assignment to this role already exists, perform a user comparison.
