RCF_SEARCH_DATE_CONV - BAdI: Date Conversion for Search Queries

The Business Add-In (BAdI) HRRCF00_SEARCH_DATE_CONVERSION converts the domain fixed values with date information from the RCF_FUTURE_DATE and RCF_PAST_DATE domains into real date information. This is necessary if date fields in search applications are displayed as selection lists rather than date fields for candidates. If the candidate selects a value from one of these selection lists, the value must be converted into a real date using the BAdI before the search query can use the value.

In the standard system, SAP provides the HRRCF00_SEARCH_DATE_CONVERSION sample implementation. This converts the domain fixed values of the RCF_FUTURE_DATE and RCF_PAST_DATE domains provided in the standard system.

Adjust the implementation provided in the standard system if you use other domain fixed values in addition to those provided in the standard system.

The candidate chooses the value Yesterday from the selection list. The BAdI converts this entry to Today-1.

The candidate chooses the value Immediately from the selection list. The BAdI converts this entry to SYDATUM.
