In this IMG activity, you create your function profiles. Function profiles contain the functions that the system provides in a worklist in the dashboard. The functions are displayed as pushbuttons.

If required, you have created OTR texts with alternative names of the functions. The system uses these names to label the pushbuttons in the worklists.

  1. Specify the application area for which you want to create the function profile.
  2. Assign an identifier for the function profile. You can use any character string of up to six characters in length.
  3. Specify a function that is to be contained in the function profile. Use the input help function for this. The system provides all functions for selection that are relevant for the selected application area. Depending on the function selected, the Worklist and Reference Field Name fields are ready for input. This is the case when selecting the WLNAV function that refers to another worklist. This feature is only available in the Confirmations application area.
  4. Enter the relative position of the pushbutton on the user interface of the worklist.
  5. Enter an OTR text to customize the name of the pushbutton for the function.
  6. Enter the worklist to which the function is to refer. This field is ready for input only if you have selected the WLNAV function. This feature is only available in the Confirmations application area.
Note: Worklists that are specified as reference targets are not displayed in the navigation tree of the dashboard.
  1. Enter the name of a reference field. The reference field is used to filter the values in the worklist to which the function refers. This field is ready for input only if you have selected the WLNAV function.
  2. Save your entries.

Repeat the activities listed above for all functions that are to be contained in the function profile and for other application areas.
