In this Customizing activity, you create the categories for grouping support groups. You can use categories to group support groups by subject, thus simplifying the overview of existing support groups for the user.

Enter a technical name and a descriptive name for each category.

You want to sort the support groups that can be assigned to the support teams of your requisitions according to the location in which recruitment takes place.

Create the category 001 (Recruitment Location).

The administrator can now use a function on his or her start page to create support groups for the various locations, for example, 001 (North America) and 002 (Europe), and assign these support groups to the category 001 (Recruitment Location).
