Use

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Certification (FI-LOC-CER) component. You can use this BAdI to enter additional information or change information in a QR code that is included in documents such as invoices. This BAdI is called when you execute actions that trigger the creation of the QR code, but only for additional information that is allowed by the calling applications.

You can use the BAdI method OTHER_INFORMATION to fill information in additional fields in the QR code.

Note that in the BAdI filter INTCA, you must assign the ISO code of the country/region-specific solution that is generating the QR code, for example, PT.

Example: QR code for Portugal
In Portugal, a QR code is legally required in documents such as SD billing documents. The last field of the QR code, “S” – Others, is optional and can be used for your own purposes, for example, to add a payment reference or an internal processing key. You can use the OTHER_INFORMATION BAdI method to fill this field. The BAdI is called, for example, when the system creates the output item for the SD billing documents.
Note
The calling application calls the method GET_QRCODE of the class CL_RDSV_QRCODE and sets up at least one QR code field as changeable in the RESULT_TAGS parameter of the BAdI method OTHER_INFORMATION. The SD billing document for Portugal is an example of such a calling application.

  • CL_RDSV_QRC_OTHER_INFO_SAMPLE
    This sample class is generic code and doesn't implement any specific scenario in billing.
