To enhance efficiency, you can define the initial values for the VIP data in this Customizing activity so that the data on the VIP Card tab page is automatically prepopulated.

The VIP Card tab page contains the types of VIP that are possible for selection by a counter. The default values serve as initial data on the VIP Card tab page, which can later be customized. If you add a new VIP entry, or edit the description for an existing VIP entry in the customizing activity, then the changes are reflected in the contract the next time you open the contract.

  • To define default values for a new VIP type, choose New Entries, you define an alphanumeric code for the VIP Type, enter a name for the VIP Description, and specify the discount percentage for the VIP type.
The VIP entry is added to the list.
  • To mark a VIP type for deletion, select the VIP entry for which you would like to delete, and then select Delete.
The VIP entry is removed from the list.
  • To edit the default percentage amount for a VIP Type, you make the changes directly in the real estate contract. To do so, complete the following steps:
  1. Open the real estate contract that is related to the store assignment.
  2. On the Department Stores tab page, select the VIP Type tab.
  3. Switch to Editmode, and then enter the new value in the Act Pct field.
The actual percentage for the VIP type is changed. The amount that you specify here overrides the default percentage in the customizing activity.

Note: The default percentage is defined in the customizing activity; the actual percentage is configured in the real estate contract.

Output

When a user enters a counter ID on the Reporting Rule tab page of the Storesscreen, the system prepopulates the VIP Card tab page with the initial values defined here. The listed entries are proposed as the possible VIP Types selectable by this specific counter.
