REFXCN_RETRIEVE_PROM - BAdI: Retrieval of Promotional Data

You can use this Business Add-In (BAdI) to retrieve and map promotional data (such as the promotion code and promotion category) from an existing system to the Real Estate system. An existing system can be either an SAP Retail System, or a non-SAP system such as an external system.

This BAdI enhances the data integration of two databases between two systems.The mapping of data from one system to the Real Estate system automatically updates the Promotion Code table; Hence you do not need to manually update the Promotion Code table.

The following method is available. Use transaction SE19 to implement the method.

• RETRIEVE_PROMOTION - Retrieves promotional data (such as the promotion code and promotion category) from an existing system.

The method is called when the promotion code in the existing system differs from that in the Real Estate system.

By default, the BAdI implementation is activated. The system uses the default implementation to load promotional data (such as the promotion code and promotion category ) from the WAKH table to the SAP Retail System.

If the exisiting system is an SAP Retail System, then you can implement the BAdI method and activate the BAdI implementation IM_REFX_CN_RETRIEVE_PROMOTION.

If the existing system is a non-SAP system, then you must create your own BAdI Implementation, implement the BAdI method, and then activate the BAdI implementation.
