Define Settings per Object Type
In this activity you assign reminder rules and reminder categories to individual object types. These are the reminder rules and reminder categories that you want to be available in processing for the objects.
You can also deactivate the Reminders function separately for each object type. The Reminders tab page does not appear in the application in that case.
You created the necessary reminder categories in the Reminder Categories activity.
SAP provides reminder rules in the standard system. If you want to a) change these reminder rules or b) create additional reminder rules, read the documentation for these activities:
b) Implement Enhancements (BAdI)
The Reminders function is available for these object types:
- Architectural object
- Business entity
- Building
- Land
- Rental object
- Real estate contract
Assign the necessary categories and rules to each object type for which you want to use reminders. Set the WF indicator if you want a workflow event to be sent.
If you want to use the Appointment Calendar Generic Business Tool, set the Cal. (calendar) indicator and specify the appointment type.
