Maintenance of Notice Rules: Period Regulations

In this step, you specify various period regulations for automatic calculation of notice dates for real estate contracts.

These regulations are defined with dependency on the contract term. You can specify notice periods that are calculated based on months (that is, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually), but you can still make the calculation of the notice date dependent on the exact day that the written notice is received. You simulate this calculation by choosing @8Z@ Simulate.

@0S@ In the contract in the application, you can also define individual period regulations. You can specify there if the period regulation is valid for the contractee (tenant), contractor (landlord), or both parties.

Choose New Entries.Enter a short name and a long name for the period regulation. Return to the initial screen. To enter one or more periods for a rule, select the rule and double click on Periods in the dialog structure. Choose New Entries again.

Enter a sequential number for each period. Enter the notice date (for example, End of Quarter) and the notice period (for example, 3 months). You can also enter a number of days for a grace period, and if this refers to calendar days or business days.

Save your entries.
