In this Customizing activity, you define the condition types (prices) and measurement types (rooms and size) that are displayed in property (rental object) thumbnails.

Thumbnails display the most essential data for a property. Within the SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app, you can display up to two condition types and two measurement types in property thumbnails.

Note: A property can have many condition types and measurement types. Full details of conditions and measurement types are displayed in the property details within the mobile app.

The required condition types and measurement types have been defined within the SAP back end. For more information about defining these types, see Customizing activities Define Condition Types and Define Measurement Types.

In this Customizing activity, you maintain the Assign Condition Type and Measurement Type (REMOB_V_COND) Customizing view.

Note: The system automatically includes the floor (level) of a property in the property thumbnail.

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter the company code, business entity and rental object (property) details.
  • Use an asterisk (*) to select all objects for a field.

  • Note: You can define different thumbnail data for different combinations of business entity, building, land or rental object data.

  1. Define values for the thumbnail fields as follows:
  • Condition type (CONDTYPE1) field, you define a sale or leasing condition

  • Condition type(CONDTYPE2) field, you define a sale or leasing condition

  • Measurement type (MEAS_ROOM) field, you define a room measurement, such as number of rooms or number of bedrooms

  • Measurement type (MEAS_SIZE) field, you define a size measurement, such as arc size, living area, or total usable area

  1. Define the period for which the settings apply.
  2. Save the changes.

After consulting with end users, you determine that total sale price, basic lease price, number of bedrooms, and living area, are required for property thumbnails. These conditions and measurement types are all currently used within your SAP back end master data. You plan to define one property thumbnail that will be used for all property developments and properties.

You make data settings as follows:

  • You enter your company code, and then enter an asterisk (*) in the business entity, building, land and rental object fields. The thumbnail data will apply to all properties within this company code.
  • Condition type (CONDTYPE1) field, you choose condition type 50to display the total sale price
  • Condition type(CONDTYPE2) field, you choose condition type 10to display the basic rent
  • Measurement type (MEAS_ROOM) field, you choose measurement type M030to display the number of bedrooms
  • Measurement type (MEAS_SIZE) field, you choose measurement type A0004to display the living area
  • You enter a date range from today's date to the system high date 31.12.9999

Note: The condition types and measurement types used are for example purposes only; the types (and codes) that you assign will depend on your enterprise requirements and available types.
