With the SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app for iPad, you can search property listings anywhere and anytime. This app accesses the SAP Real Estate Management application, and allows users (sales agents or brokers) to search accurate and real-time property data. Users can quickly connect clients with suitable and available properties.

In this overview, you will find an introduction to the required or recommended Customizing settings to be used in conjunction with the SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app. These settings are used as follows:

  • To determine which data is displayed for a property thumbnail
  • To determine what contract types are relevant when creating reservations
  • To choose standard search criteria that can be used for property searches
  • To manage user access for the mobile app
  • The SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app can only be used if the SAP Real Estate Management is used to manage rental objects (properties) and business entities (property developments).

    Administrator's Guides are published in SAP Service Marketplace (SMP), under http://service.sap.com/instguides → SAP Components → SAP Mobile Applications → SAP Business Suite.

Customizing for SAP Real Estate Broker is closely integrated with existing Customizing for Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX). In many cases, you can review existing Customizing activities to ensure that settings are appropriate.

Customizing for the SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app is completed in sections, as follows:

  • Property Settings
  • Review and optimize existing settings so that selected property data is displayed in mobile app thumbnails

  • Reservations
  • Review contract types, so that reservations (contract offers) can be created

  • Search settings
  • Review and optimize real estate (RE) search criteria so that it can be used for mobile app searches

  • Authorizations
  • Assign roles to authorized mobile app users, and determine what property (rental object) data and client (business partner) data they can access

  • Activities
  • Create types and statuses of business activities that a real estate broker usually carries out. A real estate broker can manage their daily business activities with the mobile app.
