In this Customizing activity, you review existing master data and Customizing settings for RE search. These search settings are used to define the rental object (property) search criteria in the SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app.
Within the SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app, RE search request types are called search types. All search criteria in the mobile app are derived from the RE search request master data in SAP Real Estate Management.
RE Search Request Type
To review RE search request types, use the RE Navigator (RE80) transaction, and choose RE Search Request. You can have multiple search request types.
You can define additional types of search request that are used in the mobile app; each search request type can be associated with different search conditions. There are some restrictions for search types used with the mobile app, as follows:
- Reservation period and business entity data cannot be Customized; the system assigns these details to every search request type.
- Definition of Condition Types
You can assign up to four condition types (prices) to a search request type
- Definition of Measurement Types
You can assign up to four measurements to a search request types. These measurements can apply to space criteria, such as total floor-space, and to quantity-based criteria, such as number of bedrooms or number of parking spaces.
- Assignment of Fixtures/ Fittings
You can assign up to five features for use within a search type
