In this Customizing activity, you define how daily work schedules are sequenced within a period work schedule.

A period work schedule is used to organize daily work schedules in a sequence, according to how they are routinely scheduled. This sequence may repeat itself within a nominated time period.

Defining a period work schedule for daily work schedules is mandatory.

Work schedules are used within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) plant management solutions in China.

You have identified and defined all required daily work schedules using the Define Daily Work Schedules Customizing activity.

You are using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) functions within Plant Maintenance (PM).

You have implemented either the PM, Regular Tasks Localization Topics for Chinaor the PM, Shift Diary Localization Topics for China business function.

In this Customizing activity, you maintain the Period Work Schedule(SFTPM2) transaction; this transaction uses the Period Work Schedule (V_IEAM_REG_PWS) Customizing view.

  1. Start the Period Work Schedule (SFTPM2) transaction.
  2. Specify the following:
  • The plant and work center

  • A code for the period work schedule

  • The calendar week number

  • The daily work schedule that applies to each day in the calendar week

  1. Save the period work schedule.
