In this Customizing activity, you define types of regular tasks.

Regular tasks are defined as part of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) plant management solutions in China.

You are using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) functions within Plant Maintenance (PM).

You have implemented the PM, Regular Tasks Localization Topics for China business function.

In this Customizing activity, you maintain the types of regular tasks available, using the Regular Task Types(REGT2) transaction. This transaction uses the Maintenance Task Type (V_IREG_TASK_TYPE) Customizing view.

Once they are in use, types should not be deleted or changed. However, you may need to define additional types for use.

  1. Start the Regular Task Types (REGT2) transaction.
  2. Enter data as follows:
  • A two-character task type code

  • A description for the type

  1. Complete and save the required task types.

For example, you have task types as follows:

  • CN - clean
  • RP - repair
