RETAIL_CMN_IMAGEURL - BAdI: Definition of Product Image Retrieval Format

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP retail industry application component (LO-RFM-STO). You can use this BAdI to specify whether product images should be retrieved by the back-end system from a source URL, or from a binary file repository.

This BAdI provides the following methods:

• GET_IMAGE_URLS: When this method is implemented, the system retrieves product image URLs

• GET_IMAGE_BINARY: When this method is implemented, the system retrieves the article image from a binary file

When a call is made in the front-end app for detailed product information, the system checks whether a product image has been provided for the product. It first checks to see whether product image URLs have been defined. If it does not find any, it automatically looks for product images in binary format.
