This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP retail industry application component (LO-RFM-STO). You can use this BAdI to change information gathered by the front-end app for the header and items sections of a goods movement document before it is created in the back-end system. This BAdI is called when the store associate submits an adjustment in the Adjust Stock app.

This BAdI uses the CHANGE_GOODSMVT_DATA method to change or enhance the header and items data in a goods movement transaction.

Before implementing this BAdI, you must do the following to receive data from the front-end app:

  1. Add fields that contain the additional information you intend to provide to the RETAIL_ST_SC_SHRINK_INCL structure using the Append Structure push-button.
  2. Add the same structure to the ARTICLE_SC_SHR database table if you wish to save the data in the staging table. You achieve that using the Append Structure push-button.
  3. Redefine the SAP NetWeaver Gateway Service Builder Project RETAILSTORE_STOCK_COR and enhance the Shrinkentity type.

For more information about the standard settings (filters, single or multiple uses), see the Enhancement Spot Element Definitions tab in the BAdI Builder (transaction SE18).

After you implement the BAdI, you must extend the code in the front-end application to add the input fields to the header section of the Adjust Product screen, and add the input field handler method to the controller.

You can use this BAdI to provide product serial numbers in a goods movement document.
