RETAIL_ST_SC_INVDOC - BAdI: Enhancement of Inventory Doc. Header and Items

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the SAP retail industry application component (LO-RFM-STO). You can use this BAdI to change or enhance information gathered from the front-end app for the header or items sections of an inventory document before it is created in the back-end system. This BAdI is called when the store associate submits a count in the Adjust Stockapp.

This BAdI uses the CHANGE_INVDOC_HEADER method to change or enhance the header data in the inventory count document, and the CHANGE_INVDOC_ITEMS method to change or enhance data for the items.

Before implementing this BAdI, you must do the following to receive data from the front-end app:

1. Add fields that contain the additional information you intend to provide to the RETAIL_ST_SC_COUNT_INCL structure using the Append Structure push-button.
2. Add the same structure to the ARTICLE_SC_COUNT database table if you wish to save the data in the staging table. You achieve that using the Append Structure push-button.
3. Redefine the SAP NetWeaver Gateway Service Builder Project RETAILSTORE_STOCK_COR and enhance the Count entity type.

After you implement this BAdI, you must extend the code in the front-end application to add the input fields to the header section of the Count Product screen, and the input field handler methods to the controller.
