RETAIL_ST_SUPP_DD - BAdI: DMS Configuration for Image Retrieval by UI5 Apps

This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used to provide configuration information in the SAP retail industry application component (LO-RFM-STO). You can activate settings for the UI5 apps that allow you to download images for products. You can use this BAdI to gather the information required to download the product images from the DMS image data provider.

This BAdI is called by the Image Retrieval for UI5 Apps BAdI when Document Management Services (DMS) is used as the repository for images. This BAdI uses the GET_ARTICLE_SUPP_DATA_DMS_CONF method to retrieve configuration information for the images, and the ES_SUPP_DATA_DMS_CONFIG export parameter to deliver the configuration information to the Image Retrieval for UI5 Apps BAdI.

A fallback class is provided to retrieve configuration information for image data in DMS. This includes information about the document type, part, and format and document file name. The following are default values of these parameters:

• DOCUMENT_TYPE = DRW

• DOCUMENT_PART = 000

Alternately, you can create a new BAdI implementation specifying your own configuration settings for accessing stored images.
